The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A (360W) Non-isolated DC-DC Charger is a modern DC-DC charge booster for 12V electrical systems. It enables safe and efficient charging of a service battery from a starter battery or alternator – ideal for vehicles with Euro 5/6 alternators, boats, motorhomes, or off-grid systems.

With a charging current of 30A and an output of 360W, the Orion-Tr Smart offers high charging efficiency and optimal battery maintenance. Thanks to Bluetooth Smart, the charging process can be monitored and configured in real time via the VictronConnect app – including voltage, current, temperature, and charging mode.

The device operates with an adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm (bulk, absorption, float) and is suitable for lithium, AGM, gel, and wet batteries. Multiple devices can be connected in parallel to increase the total charging current.

The Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A is not galvanically isolated, which makes it more compact and efficient. With its wide input voltage range and IP43 protection class, it is perfect for mobile and industrial applications.
