Battery Act Information (BattG Notice)
Batteries and used batteries do not belong in household waste and must therefore not be disposed of in this way. You can return used batteries to our shipping warehouse free of charge after use. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return batteries so that they can be disposed of properly.
Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) consisting of a crossed-out trash can and the chemical symbol of the heavy metal that is decisive for classification as harmful. “Cd” stands for cadmium, ‘Hg’ stands for mercury, and “Pb” stands for lead.
