Our roots and experience
Greenfuture is a family-run company with over 20 years of experience in the solar industry. Our story begins in Vorarlberg at one of Austria's pioneering photovoltaic companies – the management team literally grew up with solar energy. We proudly combine this heritage of a respected pioneer company with a passionate family tradition and a deep commitment to sustainability. International experience – even in module and battery cell production – enables us to offer products of the highest quality while minimizing our ecological footprint.
Self-sufficient energy systems as a speciality
As a photovoltaic specialist, our focus is on renewable energy solutions with maximum independence. We specialise in stand-alone solutions (off-grid systems), emergency power supplies and battery storage with a high degree of self-sufficiency. In this way, we create sustainable, reliable energy solutions for a future-oriented world. Whether it's a private home with storage, a mountain hut with a solar system, or a commercial enterprise with a backup system, we plan, deliver, and install complete systems that are precisely tailored to the needs of our customers. In addition to high-quality brand components (e.g., from Victron Energy), we also offer photovoltaic consulting and training to pass on our expertise to end customers and installers. At Greenfuture, you won't get any “off-the-shelf” products: We deliver customized energy systems from a single source – from planning to commissioning.
Target groups and applications
Our solutions are aimed at a wide range of applications and customers:
- Private households: Homeowners who want to generate and use their own electricity with solar systems and home storage systems – for greater independence and as a safeguard in the event of power outages. We have already equipped numerous single-family homes with smart PV storage systems and backup systems.
- Boats & camping: Owners of yachts, sailboats, motorhomes, or expedition vehicles who need a reliable power supply away from the grid. As a global Victron Energy specialist for marine, motorhome, and off-grid power solutions, we understand the requirements of mobile applications. Our self-sufficient on-board power systems ensure comfort and safety on the water and when traveling – without the noise and emissions of a generator.
- Commercial & industrial: Companies, agricultural businesses, and industrial users who want to reduce their energy costs and increase security of supply with photovoltaics and storage technology. From peak load capping and UPS emergency power to large-scale storage systems, we develop scalable solutions for every need. We reliably implement even complex projects with several hundred kW of power, including energy management and remote monitoring.
Success stories
Nothing builds trust more than successfully implemented projects. An outstanding example is the traditional Vorarlberg farm “Der Mooshof” in Schwarzenberg. There, Greenfuture planned and installed a PV system with 180 kWp output and 500 kWh battery storage – a system that was awarded the Austrian Solar Prize in 2025. Thanks to our stand-alone solution, the dairy farm can now cover over 90% of its electricity needs itself and is completely protected in the event of power outages. This innovative system solution also attracted international attention: the Victron Energy Blog reported in detail on the project and the prestigious Solar Prize.
