By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar modules, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy is optimally utilized and stored. This advantage is particularly evident when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing.

Remote monitoring and control

With the integrated Bluetooth of your SmartSolar MPPT charger, you can remotely control and monitor its extensive functions by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your system is connected to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) internet portal via a GX device, you have full access to your MPPT anytime, anywhere. VictronConnect and VRM are available free of charge. For remote installations without an internet connection nearby, you may be able to monitor your MPPT via the GlobalLink 520.

Load output

The 'Intelligent Load Output' function protects against damage caused by the use of discharged batteries. You can configure the voltage at which the SmartSolar disconnects a load to prevent excessive discharge. The highlight: SmartSolar attempts to fully charge the battery every day. In bad weather or other unfavorable conditions, it gradually increases the voltage value for disconnection until the battery is successfully charged. This function, called BatteryLife, maintains the functionality of the battery and extends its service life.
