The Victron Anti-Islanding Box 63A is an intelligent protection device for automatic grid disconnection in PV, hybrid, and energy storage systems. It continuously monitors the grid parameters and immediately disconnects the system from the public grid in the event of a power failure or deviations. It thus meets the safety requirements of grid operators and complies with VDE-AR-N 4105 and comparable international standards.

The Anti-Islanding Box not only protects the power grid, but also the connected devices and inverters from unwanted island operation. It is suitable for both single-phase and three-phase installations and can be combined directly with Victron MultiPlus and Quattro systems.

The system operates automatically – as soon as a deviation in frequency or voltage is detected, the switching device opens the grid connection. Once stable grid conditions have been restored, the system is reconnected manually or automatically.
