Project description: The off-grid system comprises 35 kWp solar modules on the roof/facade of the house and a lithium battery storage system with a capacity of 40 kWh. At the heart of the system are three Victron Energy MultiPlus inverters/chargers with 48 V system voltage, combined with MPPT solar charge controllers and an intelligent battery monitoring system. These components ensure a stable power supply even during prolonged periods of bad weather. During the day, the photovoltaic system provides sufficient energy for refrigerators, lighting, and water pumps; while surplus solar power charges the batteries. At night or in bad weather, the battery storage system reliably supplies the house with power. A small backup generator is available for emergencies, but has hardly been needed since commissioning. The Victron remote monitoring portal allows both us and the homeowner to view the system status at any time – a big plus for operational reliability in crisis regions.
