The Galvanic Isolator VDI-64A is a powerful protective mechanism against galvanic corrosion, which can be caused by small DC voltages via the protective conductor of the shore connection. These stray currents cause corrosion on underwater metal components of boats and yachts, such as propellers, shafts, rudders, or hulls. The isolator prevents this process by blocking the DC currents without impairing the protective conductor function for alternating current.

With a high load capacity of 64 amperes, the VDI-64A is particularly suitable for large yachts, ships, or shore power systems with high power requirements. The device is maintenance-free, easy to install, and offers a durable solution for maritime corrosion protection at the highest level.
