The Victron BatteryProtect 48V-100A is a powerful protection module for 48-volt battery systems. It automatically disconnects downstream loads as soon as the voltage falls below a preset limit, thus preventing deep discharge or damage to the battery. This protective function significantly increases the service life and operational reliability of energy systems.

The BatteryProtect operates unidirectionally – the current always flows in one direction only, either from the battery terminal to the consumer or from the charger to the battery. This clear direction of separation ensures maximum safety and prevents unwanted reverse currents. When the BatteryProtect is used with a charger, it is connected to the battery terminal to ensure the correct flow of energy.

With its compact, robust design and high current capacity, the BatteryProtect 48V-100A is ideal for high-voltage applications such as those found in larger photovoltaic systems, industrial energy storage systems, or maritime systems.
