The Victron BatteryProtect 12/24V-220A is a powerful battery protection switch that prevents batteries from being deeply discharged or the voltage from falling below a critical level. As soon as the voltage is too low, the device automatically disconnects subordinate consumers in order to preserve energy for important systems and protect the battery from damage.

The device operates unidirectionally – the current flows in one direction only, either to a consumer or from a charger. This ensures safe and controlled energy distribution. When used with a consumer, the battery is connected to the battery terminal; when used with a charger, the connection is made at the same point. This keeps the energy flow clearly defined and safe.
